Delete documents from your activity

If you need to clear your browser and delete any unwanted documents from your Citizen Space server, you can follow the following steps:

  1. Go to any text editor bar that includes the 'Embed' button.

    In these directions, we'll use a text editor found in 2. Online Survey as an example.

  2. Open up your 'Online survey settings'.

  3. In the text editor box, under 'Non-linear surveys: Table of Contents page', select the 'Embed' button, and then select 'PDF' from the dropdown list of options.

  4. In the 'PDF Embed' window, select 'Browse server'.

  5. This will show you all the files you have uploaded to the activity and give you the option to delete these.

You can browse the activity's server in this way from any text editor that has the 'Embed' icon. This includes on the Overview page, survey pages, fact banks and text answer components.

If all the PDFs have the same name, it might be difficult to identify which ones you wish to delete and which to save, but if you have the most up-to-date version, you may find it useful to delete all the versions on the server and then re-upload the current version
