Release notes: Citizen Space v7.47

Citizen Space version 7.47 was released the week beginning 22nd July 2024.

Flexible activity dates

We understand that not all activities fit neatly into a set timeline, so that's why we've introduced the option to create activities without mandatory start and end dates. This new feature is designed to add more flexibility and versatility to your site, allowing for:

• Long-running activities with no official end date, e.g. forms
• Information or project pages that don’t have a specific participation period
• Activities created as a front page grouping that link out to multiple other activities

Find out more in this article, and if you'd like to use this feature, please get in touch with your Customer Success Manager. Once it has been switched on, dates will become optional across all activities in your site. We recommend having a quality control process in place to ensure that start and end dates are still set for the activities (such as formal consultations) that require them.

This release also focused on making Citizen Space even more accessible, and fixed a few small bugs to keep everything running smoothly.
