Release notes: Citizen Space v7.53

Citizen Space version 7.53 was released the week beginning 27th January 2025.

The release includes regular maintenance security patches as well as some exciting Geospatial updates.

Improved location search in maps

Postcode search is now ‘location search’. Depending on the settings, it may search for some combination of postcode, full address, and/or place name/general location. By default there will also be search suggestions as you type (though these can be disabled). The location search also has an option to 'use my location’. This means that location search should work better globally and has more familiar functionality for users.

ArcGIS integration enabled

We can now setup ArcGIS providers (such as Esri and OSNI) to integrate with Citizen Space Geospatial.
