Release notes: Updated and new event registration templates

Event registration just got a whole lot better.

A new online event registration template

We've introduced a dedicated event registration template for online events, designed specifically for webinars, virtual workshops, online meetings and training sessions.

The event registration (online) template:

  • includes preset attendee questions tailored for online events.
  • clearly signifies that the event is online.
  • has the option to include a joining link so once a registrant signs up, the joining link automatically appears on their confirmation page, so they have everything they need in one place.
  • allows you to limit the number of places available and set a custom message for when the event is full or almost full.

Updates to the in-person event registration templates

The in-person event registration template now includes:

  • Maximum registrations: Set a cap on the number of places available, with the option to display a custom message when the event is fully booked or nearing capacity
  • Location field: Add a location to your event details and it will automatically appear in the sidebar of the Overview page alongside the date and time, making it clear at a glance where the event is taking place

Tidied up respondent journey

Both templates now have a streamlined experience for registrants. Event details like date, time, location or joining link automatically populate where they need to be, and a calendar link is included on the confirmation page so attendees can add the event straight to their calendar.
