How to delete a user

If you remove a user, they won’t be able to log in and their profile is removed. All their ideas and comments will remain in the system.

To remove a user from Dialogue:

  1. From the admin navigation menu, select 'Users'.
  2. Find the user you want to remove in the table, or use the search field to search for a specific user by username. 

  3. Select the tickbox for 'Remove user' and save changes.

Important note

A username cannot be used again, even if it's been deleted. If a person tries to register with a username that's already been used they will get an error message.
