Start and end dates - when does an activity open and close?
When does an activity open?
An activity opens at 00:00 on the start date that has been set. Citizen Space will automatically open your activity on this date, at this time, if the activity has been published.
(NB. If you have optional dates enabled on your site and your activity has no start date set, Citizen Space will treat it as open from when it is published until the end date.)
When does an activity close?
An activity will be open all day on the day it is due to close, and will close as the clocks tick over to the next day.
Hence, if an activity in Citizen Space is set to close on the 26th of September 2024, it will be open right up until 26/09/2024 23:59. It will be closed automatically by Citizen Space from 27/09/2024 00:00 onwards.
(NB. If you have optional dates enabled on your site and your activity has no end date set, it will remain open indefinitely.)
Note: Rest assured, no activity will appear in the public side of your Citizen Space hub until it has been published, regardless of the open date passing.
