How to extend the open period

You may find that you need to extend the open period on a Citizen Space activity that is already published, or even to re-open an activity that has closed.

This is straightforward to do and you don't need to retract the activity to make this change:

1. From the dashboard, go into 1. Edit Activity Details.
2. Move the closing date to your new chosen date .
3. Select Save changes at the bottom of the page.

We recommend adding some additional text to the overview page clarifying that the closing date has moved forward and explaining the reasons why, so that people know there has been a change.
