How to see how many responses your activity received

There are several places in Citizen Space where you can check how many responses an activity has received:

  1. Manage activities page
  2. Activity dashboard
  3. View responses

The response count may differ depending on which page you view, as some counts update in real time while others are updated daily.

Manage activities

On the Manage activities page, the second column of the table shows the number of responses each activity has received.

Please note: This count is updated daily, rather than in real time. As a result, it may differ from the response count shown on the activity dashboard and in View responses.

Activity dashboard

The activity dashboard includes a Total responses block, which displays the total number of responses received by the activity.

This count updates in real time as new responses are submitted.

View responses

From the activity dashboard, select Responses > View responses. On the next page, the total number of responses received is displayed at the top of the side navigation.

You can also view the response count on both the Responses by respondent and Responses by question pages.

These counts update in real time, so they provide a more up-to-date view of the number of responses received.

Please note: Removed responses are excluded from the total response count. When you remove a response, the response count updates in real time on the Activity Dashboard and in View responses, including the Responses by Respondent and Responses by Question pages.


The Manage activities page updates the response count the following day, as this figure is refreshed daily.
